2016-2017 Known System Issues

 

With the new image and the installation of the new AppSense software, we are seeing a couple issues that are identified below. Please do not open a help desk ticket for any of these issues. Follow any of the procedures below to work around or fix the issues.

1.      Adobe Crashing opening PDF from Outlook: The newest versions of Adobe have an enhanced security feature that causes the system to crash. To fix, open up Adobe Reader from the start menu. You can either go to Edit, Preferences, Security (Enhanced), and then uncheck the Enable protected mode on startup, then click on Yes and OK, or you can open up Adobe and then close it, log out and back in for the fix to be applied automatically.
