| A: | All full-time faculty and staff will have a Novell login and password to access their workstation. Adjunct and part-time staff who share a workstation will use a common login and password, which be posted on the workstation. Classrooms will also have a room login, which will be posted on the workstation. |

| A: | The open computer lab is located in room A345. Currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff have access to 60 computers and a wide variety of software applications used to support the many academic program areas across campus. |

| A: | Use Outlook to access email at your workstations. Use Webmail to access email from any location with Internet access. Your Email User ID and password will let you login to Outlook and Webmail. Adjunct and part time personnel do not have access to Outlook. |
| Q: | Why do emails disappear from Webmail? |
| A: | When a user opens their Outlook account, emails on the mail server are downloaded to their workstation. Once emails are downloaded from the mail server, they can no longer be accessed by Webmail. |
| Q: | How can I recognize a typical spam message? |
| A: | Some of the easy ways to identify a spam message are to look for the following signs: The subject line of the email has grammatical errors and spelling errors. The subject lines includes a request for user id or password. The email has an attachment you did not request.

| A: | KishConnect is the business enterprise system used to manage administrative functions on campus. Not all staff will have access to KishConnect. Access is limited to on-campus workstations.

| A: | KishSOS is a web interface that allows users to access information contained in the administrative database, all college users have access to KishSOS. Common usage includes: registering for classes, posting grades, and viewing pay advices. |

| A: | Use your Extension and Voicemail Password to access your voicemail. Your Extension and Voicemail Password will let you check your voicemail from any phone on campus. New users will receive their Extension and Voicemail Password from their department or supervisor. If you did not receive your Extension and Voicemail Password, contact your department or supervisor. An Extension and Voicemail Password cannot be generated until your supervisor submits a User Request Form available on the college website under Faculty/Staff Links. |

| A: | Kishwaukee College has open wireless access for all staff, students, and guests. The name of the access point is Kishair and does not require a password. For staff, faculty, or guest presentators who need access for a presentation - please come to the college a day or two in advance to confirm that you can connect to the network. If the room does not get a good signal, contact Information Technology which will arrange to connect you to the network via network cable. |
